Snow folks have a lot to say about our changing climate! Let's help them tell everyone, even our leaders, how they feel!
Join the Bozeman Chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) on Sunday February 11 from 1-3pm to build mini snowmen with signs like ‘Global Warming is sno laughing matter!’ on the front lawn of the Bozeman Public Library. Then amplify their (often funny) voice by taking a photo and posting it!
Of course hot chocolate and s'mores will make it even more fun!
But it doesn't stop there... invite your friends and family to come inside the Library, for more opportunities for fun, inspiration, and solutions. All ages can make their snowman's sign or grab a ready made sign, while kids enjoy snowy crafts and games.
You'll also get to meet our CCL Regional Director Bill Barron, dive into effective bipartisan climate solutions trivia style, and find out about ways you can make a difference.
It's a perfect blend of fun and advocacy!
For more details, visit our Facebook event or contact Bozeman@citizensclimatelobby.orgJoin us at Montana State University for a lunchtime talk - free pizza - with Bill Barron, whose extraordinary journey from ski patroller to a full-time climate advocate exemplifies the power of personal commitment to environmental action.
In this inspiring session, Bill will share his experiences of running for the US Senate and House, and how his passion for the environment propelled him into a unique career that blends political advocacy with long-distance cycling. This talk is perfect for students interested in environmental issues, personal empowerment, and innovative ways to contribute to solving climate change. Don't miss this opportunity to hear a story of transformation and learn how you can make a difference in the climate movement.
