CCL's preferred solution is carbon pricing because it's practical, effective, popular, and durable. When paired with cash-back of the revenue to Americans, it makes clean energy affordable, helps people during the transition, and lowers emissions quickly throughout the economy.

 

Reforming clean energy permitting and enhancing transmission are second way to drastically reduce emissions- here in Montana and around the country.

 

We also support nature based solutions to lower greenhouse gas emissions, which we have in abundance here in Montana. Growing and protecting forests in particular are something we can all get behind!
